How the territory is organized
The territory covers 26 towns in six zones: the Longueuil agglomeration, the Roussillon, Haut-Richelieu, La Vallée-du-Richelieu and Marguerite-D’Youville RCMs, and La Haute-Yamaska RCM for Granby. A quote request is sorted by the town you choose, and therefore by its zone.
The dominant pests change from one town to the next, because the houses and the surroundings change. A multiplex in Vieux-Longueuil shares walls and garbage rooms: bed bugs and cockroaches move from unit to unit. A house backing onto Mont Saint-Bruno or a wooded riverside lot in Châteauguay has the forest a few steps away: carpenter ants and ticks weigh more there. Neighbourhoods next to farmland, such as Saint-Luc and L’Acadie in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, get mice and Asian lady beetles after the harvest.
Each town profile sums up its housing, its most common pests and the local calendar. When a pest has a mechanism genuinely specific to one town, a dedicated page explains it, such as rats near Boucherville’s industrial park or carpenter ants in the outdoor wood of Brossard’s lettered sectors. If your town is not on the list, the quote form still accepts a request from another municipality, recorded outside the six zones, so describe where the property is and what you are seeing.
